News Article Title : RollerCoaster Tycoon announced for Xbox Date Added : 2003-02-03 10:36:27 Infogrames announces that it will release an Xbox version of its best-selling PC management game in March. Infogrames has today revealed that it will release a previously unannounced Xbox version of RollerCoaster Tycoon in March. The Xbox version of the game, which was first released for the PC back in 1999, will not only incorporate all of the features of the original game but also those found in the subsequent Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes expansion packs. "RollerCoaster Tycoon has been one of the most popular games released in the last three years," said Pascale Vermeerbergen, marketing director for Infogrames Europe. "The fans have been shouting for RollerCoaster Tycoon on the Xbox console and we're glad to give them what they've been demanding." In RollerCoaster Tycoon, players must attempt to build and manage a successful theme park complete with rollercoasters of their own design. The game is currently scheduled for release in Europe on March 14 and in North America on March 18. |
